Wend Images: Photons

Photons is an experimental study examining the physics of light, how light can be captured and manipulated, and how the technology of making images (digital or film) allows for the use of light - whether it originates from fire, electicity, or sunlight - to be manipulated as a creative tool in making new, innovative compositions.

The abstract images in this collection were created using long exposures, a zoom lens, with fireworks, light sticks, city lights and carnival lighting as the subject matter. In most of the images, the lights were in motion, and in others, the photographer was, with others being a combination of both light motion and camera motion.
