Capturing
an image...
Each photo
I've taken has encouraged me to learn something - about the sciences,
history, architecture, or humanity. Each time I focus my lens
on a subject is an opportunity to feed my lifelong interest in
learning.
To research
my subjects and destinations, I've used maps, books, conversations,
old miner's tales, videos, personal experience, and wherever
else I could find tidbits of interesting or useful information
about what I was shooting or where I was. I will try to add some
of the insights, information or stories I've learned about each
photo as I continue developing this site.

Help support
the Archeaological Conservancy...
Archaeological
sites are critical to the understanding of our rich history and
prehistory. Many are threatened or being lost to urban and industrial
development, looters, vandals, or the elements. You can play
an important part in helping to preserve our American heritage.
